This poem is for the days where the sky seems extra blue.
And the warmth of the sun feels like Gods love touching you.
For the peace that you feel when you finally know,
That everything around you is under control.
This poem is for the moments where when people seem rude.
You instinctively don’t return the same attitude.
You know everyone’s battle seems huge in their eyes,
And the last thing they need is more pain in their lives.
You are the security system protecting the brightness of your hours.
When you let darkness in, you start giving away the power.
Please don’t let anyone walk in and just take–
Those days that you deserve. Don’t make that mistake.
