They say that college will only be fun,
That the highs will rise above the lows.
That the homework and the the test,
Will be just small components to help you grow.
They say the friendships you make will last,
And your bridesmaids you will find.
But they seem to forget,
to describe the journey and sometimes even the climb.
Do not feel overwhelmed as it is the journey that you must take.
In defining and growing, it is all for the end goal of
Possessing a light that none can take.
At the times where the gray of the sky seems to hover over all you do.
